Code for Change

Welcome to Code for Change! Over five days you'll learn how to build a real website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and the same tools professional developers use every day — and you'll use those skills to build something that matters: a campaign site for a local cause you care about.

You'll work in pair-programming teams of two, sharing one laptop and rotating between the Driver (who types) and the Navigator (who directs). Together you'll build a three-section campaign site for a cause you choose: a compelling Hero, a fact-driven Why It Matters, and an animated Call to Action that links to a real charity, volunteer signup, or donation page.

No coding experience needed. Just bring a cause you care about and a willingness to learn.
