Demo Day presentations

You built something real. Now you show it. This is the best day of my year, every year.

The format

7 minutes per team, three beats:

  1. The problem (~1 minute): why it matters, who it affects.
  2. Live demo (~5 minutes): open your live Netlify URL — not localhost, not VS Code — and click through what works.
  3. What you learned (~1 minute): one specific thing each team member takes from the two weeks.

One or two questions from the audience after you finish.

Every team member speaks. A presentation where one person talks and two people sit silently signals an uneven team, even when the work was actually shared fairly. Don't let the audience get the wrong idea about you.

A note on context

Two weeks ago, most of you had never written a line of HTML. What's in that browser window is something you made from nothing, with tools that didn't exist a few years ago, to address a problem you actually care about.

That's worth presenting with your chin up.
