Team formation

Everyone pitches. Everyone chooses. By the end of this session you're on a team.

Idea pitches

Each person stands and pitches in 60 seconds:

"The problem is ___. My solution is ___. I want to build it because ___."

No questions during pitches — just listen. You'll have time to talk once everyone has gone.

Choosing your team

After all pitches: stand next to the idea you want to build.

Teams are 2–3 people. Smaller than 2 means one person carries everything. Larger than 3 and coordination starts eating build time.

The idea you start with will probably change. The team you form usually won't. Choose based on who you want to work with, not just who had the pitch that sounded best from across the room.

Team Card

Once your team is set, fill in your Team Card:

  • Team name
  • Team members
  • Problem: one sentence
  • Solution: one sentence

If you can't state the problem and solution in one sentence each, you don't have a clear project yet. Keep talking until you can.

Each team reads their Team Card aloud, one sentence each.
